7-Day Action Plan + 3 Pitfalls to Avoid

Read all the tutorials but don't know where to start? A day-by-day 7-day plan, plus how to dodge the 3 most common new-user pitfalls.

First week — full setup

Read all the tutorials and not sure where to start? Follow this checklist for one week — one thing per day, and from day 8 your ads are already running under AI's watch.

DayToday's taskWhat you'll have
Day 1Sign up + ask AI to build you a growth strategyA clear growth map
Day 2Have AI analyze 3 competitorsKnow what they're doing and what to learn
Day 3Generate 12 creatives with AI Creatives (3 concepts × 4 each)A batch of creative ammo, ready to go
Day 4[The most important step] Connect your Meta ad accountUnlock the product's real capabilities
Day 5Have AI launch your first adThe Campaigns module unlocks too
Day 6Let the ad run a day on its own — don't touch it yetA baseline of data
Day 7Have AI do a day-1 retrospectiveSee how AI judges your ads
Week 2Once you have 7 full days of data → turn on AutopilotDay-to-day optimization fully handed to AI

⚠ The 3 pitfalls new users hit most (sorted by frequency)

Pitfall ① · Trying Diagnose without connecting an account, then deciding "this product isn't useful"

This is the most common one. Diagnose needs your real data to work — without a connected account, AI can only give generic advice, and you walk away thinking "oh, this is basically the same as ChatGPT." So be sure to follow Day 4 — connect your account first, then use Diagnose or Optimize.

Pitfall ② · Looking for the Campaigns dashboard and not finding it

The Campaigns dashboard has been merged into the Autopilot module — there's no standalone Campaigns entry in the sidebar anymore. To view data, go to Autopilot → select the platform → switch the top tab to Data.

Pitfall ③ · Turning on Autopilot on day 1 before you've gathered enough data

Without a full 7 days, AI can't tell "normal volatility" from "a real problem," so it might misjudge. Let your ads run on their own for at least 7 days before turning on Autopilot, and set the budget cap a little conservatively too — just in case.

One last thing for you

GrowthGPT isn't here to think for you — it's here to handle "the repetitive work." Keep the brain work — "setting strategy, deciding direction" — for yourself, and hand off the repetitive grind — "tuning budgets, chasing numbers, making creatives" — to it.
